If it happend right now, I would buy a used old civic. If it happened this Nov, I would buy the Ford Fusion HEV. Otherwiae, out next car will be sonthing I can plug into the grid at its main power source, PHEV, or Straight Battery EV.
I have a serious aversion to oil use, and hope that the result of Peak Oil is not Life @ defcon-5. After all, we once fought wars over salt, because it could preserve food.
