Well after two weeks of studying my data logs I'm going back to a single turbo charger.

The turbo compound is awesome at making tons of low end torque but its to much. I keep breaking transmission and drive train parts. I'm tired of repairing something every time I turn around.

The compound system also is a lot harder to tune when it comes to lean burn and fuel mileage. I'm building a lean burn hole in the fuel map intentionally. The hole is to keep the engine in lean burn. The turbo compound system pulls out of the hole to easily. When I was running the single turbo it made it easier to stay in this lean burn hole.

I'm going to start working on a anti lag system this winter to get away from some of the turbo lag from the single turbo system. This will only be used when I'm racing the car.

This weekend I removed all the turbo compound items and now I'm back to just the 13g turbo. Man what a slug. So this weekend the FP Black goes on her to wake her back up.
