That's an interesting thing. Mammals that tend to be dark on the top and light on the bottom—except skunks. WWII airplane two-tones.
White could reflect light onto the ground and reduce the shadow, at the same time making the shadowed part lighter. The result would be a ghostly, floating appearance; which aerohead says it already has. A different camouflage might make it harder to see. This would subtly alter the appearance.
