And since the Argentinian and Brazilian versions of the GMT400 series were fitted with smaller engines than its counterparts from other markets (including neighboring ones such as Venezuela), more specifically the 250cu.in. straight-6 tuned by Lotus, a 4.1L 4-cyl Diesel (also available in turbocharged version), and a 4.2L straight-6 turbodiesel, this short-bed C2500 with an aftermarket bodywork might qualify as eco. On a sidenote, it would be quite wise to reuse the oil used to fry the acarajé (an African-inspired treat very popular in Bahia) as an alternative fuel when it gets saturated...
