I've had a slow leak from one of my heater hose connections making me crazy for a few weeks. I thought I had it fixed on Christmas day, but using a second hand hose clamp came back to bite me in the butt.
I wasn't at home so had to use what I found.
A few days ago I noticed the Civic was down on coolant again so I vowed to fix it this weekend. Dumb idea. It's way too freakin cold out there. I fixed it anyway and froze my butt off. Well more like my fingers.
I need a garage! It's -27C!
I managed to get away with not draining the coolant since both the new and old clamp were the screw type. I made sure the replacement was tight. Bled the air out (yet a-freakin-gain) and now all should be good!
