I'm uncertain about it.There could be an interference drag associated with the integration of the Darius Rotor to the top of the dome.Maybe some hook vorticity.If so,the air may find an easier pathway,and avoid the disruption,placing an asymmetrical load on the rotor vanes.
It would be worth some testing.
