GM will sell the Bolt in Europe under its Opel brand as the Ampera-e.
So the name Ampera reappears, as it was used before for the Opel version of the first gen Chevy Volt.
The Ampera-e will be more in line with European preferences, the strictly 4-seater sedan lay-out of the Volt/first Ampera hurt sales over here.
It will have the same specs as the Bolt and its price is said to be 'attainable'.
