I've got the "saliency adjuster" code working, so it can run an interior permanent magnet motor now. well, I'm going to switch back to the Toyota mgr and get that working now that I know it works with the leaf. Here's a video of the leaf. Notice how much smoother it is and doesn't come to jerking stops anymore:
