Without the details of donor vehicle and power source, meaningful comment is ...difficult. It will come down to marrying inner and outer half-shafts or some thing where the details make or break it.
I will say though, that powering three of the four wheels would be really squirrelly on black ice.
My suggestion would be start with a 2nd gen Subaru BRAT (the one with the T-top) and use
Toyota/Lexus MGRs front and rear. MPaulHolmes has an open source controller
driving the MGR now.
