Are semis more fuel-efficient at 45 MPH? I looked around on-line and everything talked about 55 or 65 MPH, but I felt that was at least partially because everyone drove faster. I would not expect what I know about cars to correlate 100% with trucks with trailers, but don't engines become more efficient with higher load, although that is overcome by friction above 55 MPH?
