Haha, sure why not?
My current project with the 3d printer is making a fun little birthday present for my sister in law. She thinks 3d printing is really cool and was pretty psyched when I first got the printer. She also really likes the
fleur de lis symbol. So, I'm going to 3d print her a translucent orange (favorite color) fleur de lis LED nightlight. Either that, or I'm going to make it so it projects a fleur de lis up on the wall behind the nightlight... I haven't figured out exactly what to do yet. I just started modeling the fleur de lis over the weekend and its not done yet.
