Congratulations 
on job well done, I know it wasn't easy my wife has family there and they always complain about PA inspections.
I know how you feel about others molesting your vehicle I hate having people every working on mine that is why I do it myself, unless it is my wife's car it is under factory warranty. Free changes everything.
AMEN to knowing how to work on our own cars, I wouldn't be able to drive if I didn't know how.
