I think what freebeard was asking is where the heck to you find water-cooled V8s used in aircraft applications? (Other than the occasional experimental.) Further, TBO is established by the engine manufacturer, not the FAA, and differs between engines. See e.g. The Savvy Aviator #4: Debunking TBO - AVweb Features Article for more.
