I'd love to visit the Lane Museum. The Petersen in LA is closer to my location, but not as cool.
The auto engineering marvels at the Lane Motor Museum are ridiculously cool | Ars Technica
I won't hotlink the first picture because its
huge, but it is a reverse tricycle belly tanker built by Kenny Howard that I'd never seen before.
Why The Lane Motor Museum Is My New Favorite Auto Museum
What I came here to post is the X-51. It's interesting to me because I saw those taillights reflected in the wet streets of McMinnville, OR in 1959.

So how has it aged? Let's see:
- Reduced frontal area.
- Fins to separate the flow over the top and sides with air scoops at the root.
- A rolled pan with a dummy grille that today would be an underslung wing/diffuser.
It's still the only car I care for in red.
