I like Okuyama's kode 9 a lot. The [eight] windsplit fenders and Porsche Speedster size is everything the Corvette Stingray could have been but wasn't. In fact at this point my ideal car would a kode 9 below the beltline with the front fender pontoons extended forward [to match] the Volkhart-Saggitta V2 above the beltline — and the ZF electric rear axle from the 2016 RAV4 hybrid.

Except... looking for the above pic I happened across the Toyota FCV Plus

To get that rear underbody, you'd need the ZF twist beam axle:

Edit: Here's Torchinsky on the Kelly Corvette.. The only thing I'd add is IIRC Vignale did the body in aluminum, and those are Pontiac finned aluminum drum brakes.
