I like Okuyama's kode 9 a lot. The [eight] windsplit fenders and Porsche Speedster size is everything the Corvette Stingray could have been but wasn't. In fact at this point my ideal car would a kode 9 below the beltline with the front fender pontoons extended forward [to match] the Volkhart-Saggitta V2 above the beltline — and the ZF electric rear axle from the 2016 RAV4 hybrid.

Except... looking for the above pic I happened across the Toyota FCV Plus

To get that rear underbody, you'd need the ZF twist beam axle:

Edit: Here's Torchinsky on the Kelly Corvette.. The only thing I'd add is IIRC Vignale did the body in aluminum, and those are Pontiac finned aluminum drum brakes.

The Arrow Plane, which still survives, is probably best known as the spiritual predecessor/prototype for the six Ford-based streamliners built in 1933-1934 as display vans for McQuay-Norris, a St. Louis-based auto parts manufacturer.

This one, however, we can only try to identify with educated guesses. As mentioned in Gottlieb’s story and in our post on the Arrow Plane, Hill also built a land yacht for Grove Laboratories and a streamlined bus for Bromo Seltzer....so it could very well be one of those two projects.

Today I saw this on the highway. What the heck is that spoiler? Isn't a Focus front wheel drive? The new Prius kinda has the same thing going on in the back, does it actually help anything?
