However going forward the vortexes push down on the body (downforce), going backwards uplift is the result.
Once that is sorted we can get back to how to mitigate the effect. Extrude the pyramidal cap adds 4 vertexes. Beveling the problematic edge makes each vertex four, so adds twelve, but blunts the corners. 4% of the gross width is a good target.
