A couple of those hot dog vehicles are not so bad.

I love the shot of the guy presumably pulling the hotdog cart with a Lambo.
Now we know how he can afford it!

Almost has a song quality to it....
~You pull your weenie with your Lambo cause it gets the job done~

The longer path will be the lower pressure, lower pressure on top, gets pushed higher from higher pressure at the sides.

Same going forward as backwards, uplift of air in a rolling vortex in each configuration.

However going forward the vortexes push down on the body (downforce), going backwards uplift is the result.

Once that is sorted we can get back to how to mitigate the effect. Extrude the pyramidal cap adds 4 vertexes. Beveling the problematic edge makes each vertex four, so adds twelve, but blunts the corners. 4% of the gross width is a good target.

Wait a minute — this is the UN-aerodynamic thread. It's perfect.

Here is a link to a flee-bay auction for a weird but kind-of cool old Thing. Which is pretty aerodynamically challenged!

(I didn't wanna post this public until asked to do so, as some forums complain about these kinds of posts)

That probably is the type 82/3 from the Wikipedia list.

Considering the production numbers and the condition, it's amazing that the ersatzpanzer is only bid up to $22K. I hope it goes to the Lane Auto Museum.

What I learned for the Wikipedia article is that the Kubelwagen had a ZF limited slip differential. No wonder they were so popular for building race cars after hostilities has ceased.
