Wasn't rust a standard feature on those ? I have heard that the build quality is rather questionable.

A guy who I worked with had just bought a matiz just before a fishing holiday, it was him and three others who drove form Göteborg up into the Fjörds of Norway, he was sooo pleased with it when he bought it, he was sure that it would save alot of fuel. Anyways long story short, firstly they couldnt fit all the stuff in the car and had to leave a lot behind, they lost a day of fishing as it crawlled up the hills. For the return journey they left stuff behind, and the atmosphere for the return journey was rather bad, they planned for a longer jounry and left alot earlier. He kept it for a few weeks then sold it. He was susequently banned from choosing the vehicle for future trips.
