They're certainly quieter than Energy Savers. I've 2 energy savers and 2 RE92's on my car, and I put the Michelins in the back because there's a lot more road noise when I have them up front. The Michelins seem to last a lot longer, and may have a better ROI, but I have no complaints about RE92's.
