Based on physiology, the average adult with normal blood pressure would not be able to rid their body of CO2 if the CO2 concentration in the air rises to 6% (60,000 ppm). The analysis of accidents shows that a 10% atmospheric concentration is fatal after a few minutes. 30% is fatal almost instantly. [

Old tests show that air seems stuffy at about 1% CO2, and respiration rate increases. At 3% there is definite impairment in cognition, panting, sweating, increased blood pressure, headache, tinnitus and other symptoms. [
