Saying goodbye to the Insight!
Well, after a fun year and a half driving & modding Ron Burgundy, I have traded the car in on a Chevy Volt. Although it's been one of the coolest cars I've owned, I needed the 4 doors for some car seats!
If you live in Florida and you're looking for a custom, one of a kind Insight, start checking Craigslist. I'm sure the car went straight to auction, and one of you guys could get a really good deal if you find it at a local car lot.
The IMA battery is really weak, as I'm sure you know if you've been reading this thread, but otherwise the car is in excellent shape, with
none of the classic Insight issues like ISB noise, tranny downshift grind, wet seat belts, electronic issues, etc . . .
Hope somebody here lands the car, I'd like to keep up with the rest of the story!
