The legal phrases about insurance with Uber sound like that once you're online with the app, they provide the additional coverage, part of the reason they take the 25% off the top of your fare... I'll certainly ask about insurance now that you bring it up, would hate to be in the wrong there, and incur a big fine/lawsuit...
