Since not even the real Atkinson cycle (not that valve timing trick) achieved the mainstream automotive market, I wouldn't hold my breath for this variable-compression engine. Scuderi cycle sounds interesting in theory too, but is just another of those "revolutionary" developments that don't seem any likely to be finally released on the market...
