I have wanted a turbo and or diesel for a while, finally pulled the trigger on a 200k mile 1986 300sdl. I got the car for a steal from a young man tried to bring it back from the dead.

Previous owner replaced the injection pump, one fuel filter and ? He claims to have spent a lot of money.

I think the injectors need torn apart, cleaned and possibly new nozzles.

I've been changing filters, chopping mufflers and general preventative maintenance to start, but eventually want this to replace my z28 for daily duties.

I guess I'll have to fix the odometer for any future aba testing but now, tires at maxed inflation, going in for an alignment, hopefully the tech understand "zero toe" and maybe a slight altitude adjustment.
