So it's been a week or so since I've installed the LED 3rd brake light, and I have made three changes to the setup.
1 - Modified wiring to include a brake light controller for added visibility.
This allows it to blink 4 times fast, 4 times slow, and then steady until reset.
2- I added a rubber hose to upper end of bracket to cushion bracket against window and eliminate road vibration chatter against glass.
3- Had to add a ground jumper from main body to hatch door. The 3rd brake light would sometimes come on and and sometimes it would not... T/S and found improper grounding through hinges, and grounding through latch. Jumper wire provides constant ground and eliminated the issue.
3rd brake light mod is now officially compete
