I've never listened to talk radio, I thought it just wound people up into a homicidal rage- and most jazz is too slow for me while driving. My ipod is full of old standards. They hit the right mix of tempo, volume and stupid silliness.

When I was in Hawaii this summer I learned to be a very relaxed driver otherwise you'll go nuts. Highway speed on the island I was on was 50mph otherwise 25mph was the fastest and there was 1 lane each way, very laid back
