Sometimes my car will sorta regen while brakeing, but like won't output as much as it should, and then will just like go into the regular DFCO regen of 4-5 bars.

If that happens you can get it to regen properly again by "overcharging" the battery. By that I mean you use a clutch switch to disable assist, but then turn that off every time you're coming to a stop and get the regen. After a while you'll be at 100% and it won't regen anymore, if you get it that far then regen should start working fully again later after you use some assist.

I think the voltage reading on ScanGauge depends on engine load and current draw.
