I'd like a vacuum gauge, but my motor is at the other end of the car. I thought about putting a 6-8" gauge on the rear bulkhead and viewing it in the rear-view mirror.
I looked at Google Images and the first four pictures all have Good or Excellent at the higher end. Or it could just mean you need to clean the air filter.
