Actually we only pulled about 30c of electricity from them, so it was a good way to lure us in. We'll be using these free charging stations more because we need to to reach San Antonio.
We also shifted about, maybe, 100 miles of driving from my gasser to the Leaf over the past week.

I suspect that a lot of businesses will offer free or strongly reduced charging, paying a few cents to lure someone to your store/restaurant is perhaps even one of the cheapest forms of advertising to the relatively rich group of EV owners.
