So you (or that cafe's customers over time) pay for the 'free' WiFi by ordering food that you may not have wanted right then, or could have gotten more cheaply elsewhere if you'd just kept on down the highway. TANSTAAFL, even if the cost isn't up front and in plain sight :-)
