Interesting. Do you know anything else about the situation? Is he in Arizona? Quick charging a lot? etc. I will have to go read the thread.

And actually he's not screwed - he's probably going to get a free replacement.

In the milder climate of Europe, 99.9% of batteries haven't needed replacement (and that includes the older Leafs).
