any mirror that's smaller than stock would be an improvement i think. these look pretty ok the curent trent in cars is to have mirrors that are free standing and not attached directly to the A pillar but rather the door trough a strut, don't know if this is drag or noice reduction though.

on the other hand drag reduction isn't a high priority in F1 raceing, it won't be a ultimate low drag design, but all in all better than most stock mirrors
