I'm still thinking torwards getting another Nissan Leaf battery on a trailer. 150 mile range would be enough.

But thinking of something else, if I did throw on a generator trailer, it seems that a standby generator would be much cheaper than a portable one.

The Honda 7000EU starts at about $4,500 and only puts out about 5,000W

This one is already converted to run on propane, can put out 6,000W continuous, and only costs $1,700.
