Hi para,
I've played with DFCO (fuel injectors shutting off on deceleration) quite a bit.
The injectors will kick back into operation well before you come to a stop or your car would stall. Don't be confused with the quite new (last couple of years max) trick of start/stop technology where the engine actually shuts off at a stop and re-starts when you hit the gas.

Read here for some more info I posted in the past about deceleration fuel cut off..
This was a stick shift saturn but the principal and practice remains the same.. http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...ers-26812.html

This one includes some mention of an automatic car and a lot more detailed information about when dfco kicks in and out.. http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...rta-27051.html
