High tire pressure should have next to no influence on the distance the car moves at each rotation of the wheels, nor does thread wear.
Whether the contact patch is large or small, the thread still lies flat on the tarmac. The radial wires prevent it from expanding with pressure.
The distance traveled with each rotation is the same as the length of those radial loop wires.
