What tyres have you got now ? and how much life is left in them ?
I was considering LRR tyres, last year but decided against them as my current tyres did not have a particularly bad rating ( D or E ), they had a lot of tread, and it would have taken along time to recoup the money back. The best tyres I could find were B rated, another reason for me to wait was in the hope that better tyres would come out in the near future.
When I need to buy new tyres I will certainly buy LRR, but until then it isn't currently worthwhile as I'm looking for overall ownership economy rather than focussing purely on MPG at any cost.
