It sounds like they fixed a problem that you were unaware of... but missed the actual no start problem. Due to orientation (witch way is up) horizontal all contacts good gravity is holding things in place, vertical and open circuit

Try dismounted w/remote ground agen .. confurm function with Scan Gage ,then try starting in this configuration .
Could be were the gremlin lives ?
With SG as test light wiggle each wire till SG gos lights out..
Hope the gremlin gets tired of being chased soon..
