Remember the wiring harness details and the ECU... if it is a simple swap you want, don't just get any 96-00. Get an HX so you have the exact harness and ECU. The LX, DX, and CX all had different harnesses from the HX. Maybe the EX was similar or the same. Check that. Nonetheless, you prolly know that you have to have the HX ECU. Good luck. Post up pics. [BTW: I have long wondered how feasible a 2007 Honda Fit engine swap into a 1996-2000 civic would be. That engine would be newer, smaller, and cleaner burning. The EPA ratings were 33/38 for the 5MT. It's gearing was shorter than I'd like, though. (End thread jack)]
