In 2002 or 2003, Bosch adapted a Volkswagen Polo to run on gasoline, ethanol and CNG, resorting to a turbo with an overboosting setup to make it up for the higher knocking resistence of both ethanol and CNG. I don't know what had been done of that test mule in the meantime.
