I bought a very good running Insight that needed a new battery, I disabl d the battery to be able to make the 500 mile drive home.
Being a hypermiler I decided to EOC on a long downward stretch to a stop then bump started in 5th gear at about 15mph since the intersection was clear, after that I got herky jerky .
I think there must be some as of yet unidentfied source of timing mismatch in these cars, not sure it's source but something changes as they age.
