I took the Insight on a longer trip than usual and at higher speeds than normal. Lately its been running like junk. I can't even stay in lean burn and maintain 45 mph. I thought it was because it has been cold, wet, and windy. However, on this trip I got another P1259 code. I had one of these when I got the car, and one other time. I had just reset it, but I think now its a good time to address it. This code is for a v-tec malfunction. So, I'll likely be pulling the solenoid off soon and checking it out. I'm hoping the screen is just plugged up, but I'll make sure it actuates properly and the switch works while I'm at it.
