But that's the point. The McLaren is street legal, but not a production spec car.
It has an oversized wing to boot...(!)

If it only needs to be street legal it won't stand a chance against this:
The Worlds only street legal F1 car.
Makes whatever time it set rather irrelevant.

So there you have it. Take a production car, do only mods that do not change its performance (safety mods like roll cage and fire extinguisher etc) only then does the lap time say something.
