rough numbers
It's Tuesday (it is isn't it?)
My 8 year old Grandson is running around the house
shooting everything with his cap-gun (I think the dog has died about twenty times now) and I can't find my old log book. (I bought a new one for the trip,
fully believing I would find the old one when I got home)
Now for some rough numbers
Fill up before leaving town 8.1 gallons, miles ???????
trip to W.Va. ...................7.806 gallons, miles 369 = 47.27 mpg
(runs bad, climbing 9% grade at 30 mph, rarely go over 55)
run around Kistler............2.183 gallons, miles 92 = 42.14 mpg
(this was the test and tune phase, not counting this really)
trip home............................7.844 gallons, miles 362 = 46.15
(runs great, 9% grade at 70 mph, rarely under 70 mph)
(Barb says, " Alright Cap'nSlo, you're gonna have to change your plate")
So it looks as if I get 46 mpg @ 70 mph
What does that work out to @ 55 mph ???????
We'll find out soon, I'm driving the carpool this week.
