If your intake manifold runner valve is stuck open, then that would mean you are losing low end torque.
I would fix that. When my car got a check engine light it was noticeably less powerful thanks to the ecu cutting timing, which means LESS efficiency. The check engine light was evap related, nothing to do with the engine. Fix those lights if you haven't already!
