You don't need to add a carb to the mix. A carb would just be a restriction to a diesel.
I ran propane fumigation before the air filter years ago, only problem was some times I could smell propane. Once I relocated the injection nozzle to the top of the intake manifold, on the inside of the air filter the smell went away.

Thanks! I guess I could rig it up inside the air cleaner right below the air filter.
The idea of the carb was a way to meter the gaseous fuel. I'd take the throttle plate completely out. But if there's a better/cheaper way to meter the gas I'd like to hear about it.
