Houses in the UK have a single phase, 50 Hz,supply of 230 volts with a minimum of 60A up to a maximum of 100A. Usually the supply is fused to supply a maximum of 100A, unless you are at the end of a farm track and miles from a sub station.
Our phase configuration is Star (unlike the Delta configuration used in the US) and each house is supplied off one leg of the Star and the central neutral point. You can arrange to have a three phase supply installed with the extra installation and ongoing charges that entails.
I was employed by a US company, here in the UK, and we regularly installed US equipment, so I am very familiar with the Delta configurations you have available, with 110V, 208V and 220V supplies. We sometimes had to fit Star/Delta transformers to run specialised equipment.
