i have seen 2 versions from youtube in drive design.

1. direct motor to tire via chain.
2. removing jugs and attatching electric motor to the tranny via a belt.

im still in debate on whitch will be better.
i think that i might can achive better speed to leave the tranny and gears but
difficult to deternine the extra drain it might cause on batteries.

also if i go with direct drive and remove the tranny im wanting to go belt drive instead of chain.

being in florida im also looking into the possibilities of adding some solar pannels as a offset of charging the batteries but not the primary charging method.i think it would help the batteries and could concievably do a charge in a few days without a plugin.

as a IT tech,welder & a electrician i dont see to manny issues with any modds i might need to do but researching batteries i see i need thick plate deep cycle batteries not just golf cart like i was planning to do.
I had also thoght of alt source of cheap lithium batteries imagine stacking a lot of dewalt 18v batteries.I see them everywhere i go .. yard sales .. flea markets .. if 40 to 50 are stacked accordingly this might make a alternative to the heavy batteries and also conserve space. plz post replys on these thoughts ty
