More information on the Leaf 30kWh battery shows many owners are at 65% by 20,000 miles. But the bars are dropping toward the point at which Nissan would be on the hook for a warranty replacement at a rate that is more appropriate for a 24kWh pack. So people who paid extra to get a new 2016 when there were deeper dicounts on leftover 2015's seem to have gotten an even lesser dependable battery.

There were quite a few instances of 30kWh packs with bad cells that Nissan was refusing to repair.
