Welcome. I find it easier to benefit from hypermiling techniques in the city or town than on the open road. There is far more to be gained from DWB and DFCO as well as coasting up to stop lights. On the highway I find my mileage is pretty much what it always was.
I do recommend instrumentation though. I find my ScanGauge E invaluable.
